Windows calculator installation walkthrough

 

This is a walkthrough of the installation of a 64-bit version of the 2011 Windows calculator on Windows 7.  Other versions should be similar.


We start assuming that you have just done the download.

Right click on the downloaded file and select Extract All, and extract the files:



This will leave you with a folder with the install files in it.  Change into that folder and find the setup.exe file.



Double click on setup.exe, and go through the install process.



Now open the application QRiskCalculator2011 using the Start menu.




This will open the app.





Go to the app's Help menu and click on Generate licence key request.




Enter your name and click "Generate request"




Cut and paste the username and id into an email to me.


I will then return an activation key to you to unlock the application for your machine.


Close the licence request window, and open the "Help->Enter licence key" one.


Cut and paste the username and licence key from my reply to your email into the appropriate boxes:




Click OK (and OK again) and you are done.
