Windows calculator installation
Windows calculator installation
How to install
The calculator works on Windows 2000, XP, Vista and Windows 7 and 8.
•Purchase a licence to use the application here. The licence will entitle you to use the application, or any update, on one machine for one calendar year from the point of purchase.
•Download the application from the links here. Double click on the .zip file to open the archive, and view the folder containing the installer.
•Follow the instructions below, or click here for a detailed walkthrough.
•Double-click on the Setup.exe program. This will guide you through the setup procedure, installing the Microsoft .NET framework (the Microsoft libraries used by the application) if necessary. You will need a network connection for this, and may need to re-boot your machine as part of the procedure.
•Read, and agree, the terms of the licence.
•Once the application has installed, run it from the Windows Menu. Go to the help menu, and choose the item "Generate licence key request". Enter the name of the person or organisation to whom the application will be licenced (your username), and generate the request.
•Cut and paste the licence request thus generated into an email to licence_request@clinrisk.co.uk. Once your order has been successfully processed, we will issue a key to unlock the application for that machine. Please note that the licence that we will generate is specific to that machine. It can take a couple of days to process a licence request, so please build that into your planning! Please also include details of who has paid for your licence to avoid a delay.
•Once you have received your key, start the application again. From the help menu, choose the item "Enter licence key", and copy and paste your username and key from the email containing them. The application will then be unlocked until the expiry date which is at the beginning of the key.
•One or two people have trouble in entering the username/licence key pair. It must be exactly as we send it to you, as any extra spaces or changes to characters, either in the username or the key will cause it to be rejected. Please cut and paste both username and key.
The application itself is straightforward to use.
